The adventure of traveling with Jovive

Traveling is passionate, doing so by car is our preferred way to explore the world. Living the adventure of traveling night on the roof of a car is what has led us to create Jovive.

We are Jorge and Carmen, the adventurers behind the creation of the Rooftop Tent For Jovive Tent car.

The problem of traveling with caravan

For a while we travel in caravan, but soon we discover its limitations: speed, complicated routes, wind, mandatory campsites and the added cost of the parking lot. We began to feel that this type of trip no longer fit the freedom we were looking for.

A new way of moving

We wanted to keep our usual car, without buying a camper or a motorhome. We only needed a lighter and more flexible way to sleep where the road would take us. So we found our first Rooftop Tent. The experience was revealing ... but also imperfect.

What did not work

The store was heavy, difficult to ride, uncomfortable for the cold and did not allow us to take our Paddle Surf boards. Essential details such as good ventilation, light or intimacy were missing. We tried other brands and models, but none met everything we needed.

This is how Jovive was born

From that search he was born Jovive Tent: Our response to all the problems we find along the way. We design one Rooftop Tent For car that offered the freedom we dreamed, without giving up comfort, functionality and the adventurous spirit that moves us.

The beginning of a new dream

After many failed attempts with other brands, we decided to take the step and create our own Rooftop Tent For car. We wanted something that really would meet all our needs as travelers: practical, comfortable, functional and resistant. Thus was born the adventure of designing Jovive Tent.

From the idea to the prototype

We sat down to review everything we had missed in other models: thermal insulation, lightness, ease of use, luggage space ... We investigate materials, redesign each part and manufacture our first prototypes. In the summer of 2019, we finally tried our first two Jovive Tent.

Light, practice and prepared for adventure

Jovive Tent is the Rooftop Tent Lighter on the market: it weighs only 50 kg and a single person can install it and open it in just 2 minutes. Its double opening system allows sleeping in camps, Camper areas or in full nature with total comfort and freedom.

More space, more freedom
