We are passionate about traveling, traveling by car is our favorite way to explore the world. Living the adventure of traveling overnight on the roof of a car is what led us to create Jovive.

THE PROBLEM OF TRAVELING WITH A CARAVAN

For a while we traveled in a caravan, but we soon discovered its limitations: speed, complicated routes, wind, mandatory campsites and the added cost of parking. We began to feel that this type of travel no longer fit with the freedom we were looking for.

Solutions!

A NEW WAY OF MOVING

We wanted to keep our usual car, without buying a camper or a motorhome. We just needed a lighter, more flexible way to sleep wherever the road took us. This is how we found our first roof tent. The experience was revealing… but also imperfect.

Issues?

WHAT WAS NOT WORKING

The tent was heavy, difficult to set up, uncomfortable in the cold and did not allow us to carry our paddle surf boards. Essential details such as good ventilation, light or privacy were missing. We tried other brands and models, but none of them met everything we needed.

THIS IS HOW IT WAS BORN JOVIVE

From that search was born Jovive Tent: our answer to all the problems we encounter along the way. We designed a car roof tent that offered the freedom we dreamed of, without giving up comfort, functionality and the adventurous spirit that moves us.

The beginning of a new dream

After many failed attempts with other brands, we decided to take the plunge and create our own car roof tent. We wanted something that really met all our needs as travelers: practical, comfortable, functional and resistant. This is how the adventure of designing was born Jovive tent

From idea to prototype

We sat down to review everything that we had missed in other models: thermal insulation, lightness, ease of use, space for luggage... We researched materials, redesigned each part and manufactured our first prototypes. In the summer of 2019, we finally tested our first two Jovive tent

Light, practical and ready for adventure

Jovive Tent is the lightest roof tent on the market: it weighs only 50 kg and can be set up and opened by a single person in just 2 minutes. Its double opening system allows you to sleep in campsites, camper areas or in the middle of nature with total comfort and freedom.
